Deliveries

All items are packed in specialist packing materials to ensure maximum protection for your purchases. We make every effort to ensure that your items arrive in good condition.

Delivery to UK addresses is by Royal Mail, Parcel Force or a reputable courier company depending on the size of the order and / or delivery location. Please allow 3-4 days from the time of placing the order. You will be notified if your order will take longer to dispatch and deliver.

 

 

Availability Guide

An item’s availability is the estimated time it will take us to obtain the item and prepare it for delivery.

For items in stock it will take a minimum of 24 hours to pack and dispatch.

Items not in stock can take up to 21 days to restock from our suppliers abroad.

Returns & Refunds

Please note that images shown on the site are indicative only. Suppliers may from time to time change the labelling or design of their product or packaging without warning.

Returns are accepted and refunds given only if the wrong product has been supplied or is delivered damaged.  The item must be returned to us in its original condition within 10 days of the date you receive them, unopened with any seals and wrapping intact.

 

 

We are unable to exchange or refund items that are not damaged, defective or incorrect.

We have no liability to provide refunds where a customer orders the wrong product or where the delivery address has been incorrectly supplied. This includes where delivery has been attempted and the goods have been returned unclaimed from the delivery agent’s depot.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Is it legal to purchase alcohol over the Internet? 

 

Yes, provided that the company you purchase from is fully licensed. Caribbean Spirit is licensed to sell alcohol. If they are not licensed then not only are they trading illegally but you may also be committing an illegal act by purchasing from them.

 

 

Always check before placing your order.

You must also be over 18 to purchase alcohol in the
UK . Purchasers from overseas must be of over the minimum legal age for alcohol purchase in your country.

 

 

Caribbean Spirit will not knowingly sell alcohol to underage customers.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Payment

 

 

 

 

Goods remain the property of Caribbean Spirit until paid for in full by one of the methods specified at the checkout.

 

 

Where the option of Bank Transfer is chosen, bank details will be supplied.

 

 

Upon receipt of your order you will receive an email verifying your order details. You have the opportunity of cancelling the order within 24hours of placing the original order. To enable us to do this please ensure that you provide a valid email address upon registration.

 

 

We use Protx to process our Credit Card transaction, your credit card details will be verified on receipt and all attempts at fraudulent transactions are logged and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

TERMS OF TRADING - Trade orders

 

 

All prices are quoted UK duty paid and delivered exclusive of VAT. All orders received by the Company are subject to the following terms and conditions and on the strict understanding that these conditions will prevail in the case of any difference between these conditions and those of the Customer.

 

 

ORDERS

Orders should be submitted on headed paper, or purchase order, or online via www.caribbeanspirit.co.uk , and placed by an authorised signatory. An order received by the Company, or its representative, is deemed to be an "offer of purchase" by the Customer, which shall be deemed to be accepted by the Company upon delivery of the goods. Accordingly, whilst the Company shall endeavour to deliver the goods without delay, any delay in delivery or failure to deliver shall not be a breach of any contract.

 

 

PRICES

All prices quoted are subject to stock availability and, whilst every endeavour will be made to supply at quoted prices. the Company reserves the right to revise prices without prior notice. All quotations are subject to the goods being unsold. Prices are subject to alteration without notice. Account

 

 

Customers must clear the outstanding balance within 30 days of the date of invoice. All allowances and promotional entitlement will be forfeit if our terms of trade are broken, and we reserve the right to charge interest on the overdue balances at 4% over the current Bank rate. However, if the debt results in a Summons, the policy of this Company is to charge lawful statutory interest, plus £40 administrative charge.

 

 

Any queries on invoices must be reported within 7 days of the postmark date on each invoice. No allowances for claims, or late payment, can be entered into after this period.

 

 

RETENTION OF TITLE

Legal and equitable title to and property In the goods supplied to the Customer under this contract shall not pass to the Customer but shall remain with the Company until the Company has received full payment for the goods supplied under this contract and for all other goods supplied by the Company to the Customer under this or any other contract. All goods supplied to the Customer shall be stored in a safe and suitable place separate from other goods of the Customer and shall be marked or placed in such a way as to make the goods readily identifiable as being the property of the Company. In the event that the Customer does not make payment to the Company in full of any monies owing under this or any other contract by the due date or if the Customer becomes insolvent or commits an act of bankruptcy or makes any arrangement or composition with his or its creditors or an order is made or a resolution is passed for the winding up of the Customer or an encumbrancer takes possession or a receiver or an administrator is appointed of the whole or any part of the assets of the Customer or the Customer makes default in payment of any negotiable instrument or the Customer ceases or threatens to cease carrying on its business, the Company shall be entitled to resume immediate possession of the goods without notice for which purpose the Customer grants the Company an unrestricted right of access to and entry upon any premises in which the goods may be or are likely to be situated from time to time. The Customer shall be entitled to resell the goods in the ordinary course of business only notwithstanding that legal and equitable title in those goods may not have passed to the Customer but in such events the proceeds of sale arising from the resale of the goods shall be held in trust by the Customer for and on behalf of the Company.

 

 

DELIVERY

Delivery shall be deemed to be effected when the goods have been delivered to the address agreed between the Customer and the Company, or collected by or on behalf of the Customer. Minimum Order is as shown on pricelists unless agreed otherwise.

 

 

RETURNS Returned goods will only be accepted when: a) They have been wrongly delivered by us. b) They are out of condition and this has been agreed by our representative. c) " Sale or Return" terms have previously been agreed; unbroken cases only will be accepted back. d) For goods approved for collection, which do not fall within one of the above categories, a charge of £5.00 per product line/per case will be charged.

 

 

SAMPLES These may be charged. Any charge will be refunded on receipt of an order for the products supplied.
